OKRs and project execution in one workflow
OKRs describe outcomes. Projects and tickets describe delivery. WorkHub connects objectives and key results to initiatives and tickets so product teams can execute — without claiming WorkHub replaces every specialized OKR suite.
Execution chain
- 01Objective
- 02Key Result
- 03Initiative
- 04Ticket / project work
- 05My Day
- 06Progress
What is the difference between an objective and an initiative?
An objective is a directional outcome for a cycle. An initiative is a body of work intended to advance that outcome. Confusing the two creates either vague goals with no delivery plan, or busy projects with no outcome.
OKR vs project vs ticket vs daily plan
Keep the vocabulary distinct:
- Objective — what success looks like
- Key Result — how you measure progress toward the objective
- Initiative — a strategic body of work
- Project / ticket — delivery units with owners and status
- My Day — what someone plans to execute today
How WorkHub connects OKRs to work
On Starter and above, teams create objectives and key results, link initiatives, attach tickets, and plan My Day. Progress on initiatives becomes inspectable because work is linked — not because an agent rewrote strategy.
When not to use WorkHub as your only OKR tool
If you need advanced OKR cascading across a large enterprise HR stack, or SSO-gated OKR suites as a purchase requirement, evaluate those products on their merits. WorkHub’s focus is product-team execution from objective to today’s work.
Common questions
How does WorkHub connect OKRs to work?
Objectives and key results can link to initiatives and tickets. People plan initiative-linked work in My Day and complete tickets. Key result values are updated by the team — not invented by AI.
Is WorkHub an OKR platform?
WorkHub includes OKR-style objectives and key results as part of product execution. It is not positioned as a full replacement for every enterprise OKR product.
